Use a board record for the clinician question
As of October 3, 2026, Arizona’s MD and DO boards have separate public searches. A
The MD degree means medical doctor. A doctor of osteopathic medicine has the DO degree, another kind of doctor degree. Use the board search for the degree the clinician holds. A
Arizona limits the online display of some board actions, and additional public records may be requested under the rules checked October 6, 2026. B
Use medicine records for the product question
FDA means Food and Drug Administration, the federal medicine agency.
A drug product is identified in the government’s drug list by a National Drug Code, often called an NDC number. C
As of September 26, 2026, that number provides no proof of FDA approval for the product. C
Compounded products are medicines made as custom orders; they lack FDA approval as of the same date. D
Ask for the exact product name rather than relying on a broad ingredient claim.
Separate law from professional guidance
Arizona Nursing Board guidance explains how the board expects nurses to give care. The board calls these explanations “advisory opinions.” They are not laws passed by lawmakers. E
Use that guidance to ask about the care steps the nurse must follow. It does not itself give permission to use a particular peptide. E
Treat a letter as a dated allegation
The FDA publishes warning letters you can search by company name. Later replies or a closeout letter may show how the issues changed after the warning. F
In the letter search, look for a response or closeout, meaning the FDA’s later letter about the company’s handling of the warning. Read those papers with the original letter. F
A letter is an allegation at a point in time, not a final finding; having no letter does not prove a company has been reviewed. F
A report alone cannot show the cause
The FDA cautions that a report alone cannot establish the cause of a medicine problem or tell how often that problem occurs. G
Use the source to understand the claim’s limits, then take your own care question to the clinician.
